Villino Panichi

The Cottage Panichi was built in the early twentieth century by the architect Lorenzo Porciatti and it was the first building constructed in Piazza della Vasca (then Piazza Umberto I), during the work of transformation of Via IV Novembre. The name was given by the family who lived there originally. The house was originally separated from the square by a wall with iron gate decorated with floral motives: both the wall and the gate were demolished after World War II and in their place was created a low-rise building, where now there are some commercial activities.
