It is located on the high right corner of the Rocca Maggiore. One time they were connected by walkable walls. Compared to the Rocca Maggiore, however, Rocca Minore is more recent. It is also known as Rocchicciola, or Cassero of St. Anthony, from the name to the confraternity of St. Anthony and St. James located at the door of the Capuchins in the fortress itself. The two fortresses dominates Assisi from above and are connected by a long wall, below which there would be a secret route.
