The Palace was built in the XV century by the Balbi family and very soon became property of Rasponi family. In 1825 Julius Rasponi married Luisa Murat, daughter of the King of Naples, from which derived the name of the branch. The count commissioned some decorating to neoclassical artists: Agricola, Pelagi, Minardi, G.B. Barbiani. Of impeccable taste will remain paintings by Wicar and Nenci. The building retains memorabilia of the Napoleonic era.
