The Gallenga Stuart Palace is located in Piazza Fortebraccio and is the headquarters of the University for Foreigners of Perugia. The palace in the Baroque style was built between 1748 and 1758 and was long an aristocratic residence of the Antinori family. Afterwards the building was purchased by Gallenga-Stuart and these then transferred to the state to become just the home of the University for Foreigners. Only thanks to a huge donazine of a wealthy American student, in 1931 he was made the rear facade and a new wing of the building. Of great artistic interest is also the main hall which contains a cycle of frescoes of the Futurist painter Gerardo Dottori.
