Mentioned for the first time in 964, it was founded in the Romanesque style and then redone in the Gothic style; finally it took a Baroque style. Externally still shows its age in the richness of cottos and ornamental friezes of 1400. It was one of the first city parishes and was built in the ancient Byzantine "castrum" area. The majestic bell tower dates back to 1092 but was revised during the fourteenth century. The interior is very simple, it was rebuilt in the '50s of the twentieth century and has some fine furniture.The church is the first sanctuary dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes to be built in the diocese.
