The church of San Giovanni Evangelista is a Catholic religious building that rises in Modica. It has a facade whose last version was rebuilt after 1839, to be completed between 1893 and 1901.The first construction dates back to the VI century and it is known as the first benedictine presence in the South - East of Sicily.
