The plan of the church was executed by Bernardo Antonio Vittone in 1751. The Neo-Classical façade is by Barnaba Panizza (1830). On the main altar there is the painting Assunzione della Vergine ( Ascension of the Virgin) by Pietro Francesco Guala.
