The clock tower (Campanone) in Santarcangelo di Romagna is a neogothic tower (23 meters high) built in 1893 and is one of the most characteristic building of this small town. Although it isn’t the original tower that overlooked the oldest entrance to the first fortification (Old Campanone Gate 11th-12th century) it remains one of the town’s symbols and an unmistakable part of its skyline.
